ASUS ROG Ally Set to Make Exciting Debut in India’s Handheld Gaming Market

Asus, the renowned technology company, made its foray into the handheld gaming market in May 2023 with the launch of the ROG Ally. Packed with top-tier hardware specifications such as a 120Hz display and a powerful Ryzen Z1 chipset, the device received much acclaim. And now, gamers in India can rejoice as Asus has teased the imminent arrival of the ROG Ally in the country.

Taking to Twitter, Asus released a teaser image for the Indian launch of the ROG Ally. The image prominently features the Republic of Gamers (ROG) branding in the top right corner, accompanied by the tagline “Allies Assemble.” In the teaser, the handheld console appears as a silhouette, with luminous rings adorning the left and right sticks. While an official launch date is yet to be announced, speculations suggest that it will be unveiled soon.

Under the hood, the handheld console runs on the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, delivering impressive performance with AMD Radeon graphics. Additionally, it offers a generous 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a capacious 512GB NVMe Gen 4 SSD for storage.

One of the standout features of the ROG Ally is its Zero Gravity Thermal System, a specially designed mechanism that ensures optimal temperature balance during gaming sessions. Coupled with ROG’s Dust Filter and 0.1mm Ultra-thin Fins, this system effectively keeps the internal components free from dust buildup. In terms of controls, the device provides a comprehensive set of inputs, including ABXY buttons, D-pad, L&R Hall Effect, analog triggers, L&R bumpers, and 2 assignable grip buttons, among others.

While there is no official word on the pricing yet, the device was initially launched in the United States at a price of $700.
